So many people make so many slip ups everyday, but most of those slip ups don't really mean anything. Just small and pointless. But then there's the slip ups that can be avoided, if only there was some thinking involved. In one day, there have been 2 slip ups directed towards me, and not just little joking ones, but ones that can actually hurt a little bit. The first was joking around with a family member and then I got compared to or called a 'skank', which actually hurt. I took it lightly knowing that they never intended to say that, I knew it just came in the moment and that as soon as they said it, they wanted to take it back. The second time was more hurtful, and could have been avoided way easier than the first. It could have been thought out more because it wasn't something the was happening instantly. Many people don't think when they should, and it results in other people getting hurt. If you don't want someone you care about to get hurt, then think first, then act.
